Beginning the Job Search

    This workshop will introduce you to the most active phase of the academic job search process: finding potential positions, parts of the application packet, the academic job search “season,” common practices, networking, hints for procuring good reference letters, and other tips for job searches.  

    This is an asynchronous workshop with the last session in person.  Online videos must be watched before joining us for the Part II session with Amy Ames, Assistant Director of the Baylor Career Center, 12:30 - 1:30 pm, Friday, November 12 in the Visualization Lab, Graduate Research Center.  Pizza and drinks will be provided.
