Writing in the sciences can be daunting. To help, we have organized a practical workshop with the staff from the Graduate Writing Center that will address various aspects of the writing process, including sentence structure, word choice, active voice, paragraph and flow structure. For this workshop, please bring some of your own writing to work on. If you don’t have any yet, don’t fret! We will provide sample paragraphs and other examples and prompts that you can keep and use as guidance in your writing in the future.
