What is active learning, and how does it benefit students? This workshop will walk participants through concrete and easy-to-implement instructional methods that engage students in the learning process beyond listening and note-taking. These approaches emphasize skill development and promote higher-order thinking.

Anyone who attends 3 GPS workshops this year may choose  a free professional development book from the Graduate School selections.

GPS (Graduate Pathways to Success) workshops are sponsored by Baylor University Graduate School to assist in the professional development of graduate students and graduate faculty.

The ATL (Academy for Teaching and Learning) has a two-fold mission: to support and inspire a flourishing community of learning and to promote the integration of teaching, scholarship, collegiality, and service in a Christian environment.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
