Why is nobody talking? Did my students read the material? Am I talking too much?

Integrating discussion into your classroom instruction can feel intimidating and should be implemented thoughtfully. This workshop will offer concrete ways to facilitate productive conversations that encourage broad student participation and engagement.

    • This will be a hybrid event.  Light refreshments will be served at the in-person session.
    • A zoom link will be sent to all registrants the day before.
    • Anyone who attends 3 GPS workshops this year may choose a free professional development book from the Graduate School selections.

GPS (Graduate Pathways to Success) workshops are sponsored by Baylor University Graduate School to assist in the professional development of graduate students and graduate faculty.

The ATL (Academy for Teaching and Learning) has a two-fold mission: to support and inspire a flourishing community of learning and to promote the integration of teaching, scholarship, collegiality, and service in a Christian environment.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
