    Learning is inherently social. Yet college courses typically emphasize individual work. In this session, participants will discover the reasons for engaging in group work, examples for specific pedagogical goals, and tools for overcoming common hurdles. 


    This semester, the Graduate School and Baylor’s Academy for Teaching and Learning are partnering to offer a series of GPS workshops focused specifically on developing graduate students’ pedagogical skills. These Practical Pedagogy workshops will be offered once a month.

    GPS (Graduate Pathways to Success) workshops are sponsored by Baylor University Graduate School to assist in the professional development of graduate students and graduate faculty.

    The ATL (Academy for Teaching and Learning) has a two-fold mission: to support and inspire a flourishing community of learning and to promote the integration of teaching, scholarship, collegiality, and service in a Christian environment.
