Getting published in an academic, peer-reviewed journal is typically at the top of any graduate-student’s to-do list. But it’s easier said than done. Getting rejected is the norm, and even if you are given a revise-and-resubmit, it’s hard to know how to transform your almost-good-enough article into a ready-to-publish article. Come to our “Peek Behind the Curtain of Peer-Review” Q&A Panel to hear from an interdisciplinary team of faculty who have served as peer-reviewers and/or editors for academic journals. They will be sharing what they have found makes for a successful journal article and what tend to be the things that send something straight to the reject pile. Lunch will be provided!
Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
