“Lecture for Learning” will address the most common form of university instruction. Participants will learn when it is appropriate to lecture and how to lecture in ways that facilitate learning. This will also be a hybrid event, so both online and in-person attendees are welcome!

    • Light snacks will be provided for in-person attendees.
    • The Zoom link will be sent to registered attendees 24 hours before the event.
    • Anyone who attends 3 GPS Workshops this year may choose a free professional development book from the Graduate School selection.

GPS (Graduate Pathways to Success) workshops are sponsored by Baylor University Graduate School to assist in the professional development of graduate students and graduate faculty.

The ATL (Academy for Teaching and Learning) has a two-fold mission: to support and inspire a flourishing community of learning and to promote the integration of teaching, scholarship, collegiality, and service in a Christian environment.
